"Peek A Boo Bunny" I hope you enjoy this tutorial as much as I have creating him. The inspiration for this little guy came from an image I saw in a magazine. Thought he was cute and just had to try to create him. I was initially going to create this tutorial using vectors as I feel when using selections your really not learning a lot, but I changed my mind and have provided the selections for you. *G* I will be going back to vectors very soon;0)) But for now enjoy the selections!
1. My selection files. Download those HERE. (Unzip into your psp selection folder, if you do not have one create one now). 2. Eyecandy 3.0. Download HERE. (This is optional, you do not need this filter to complete this tutorial). 3. Bunny eye psp file. Download HERE. (You can choose to create your own or use mine. Have them open in psp if you chose to use mine). Lets get started 1. Open a new 650 by 460 transparent (16.7 million color) image. 2. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer body. 3. Selections, load from disk choose body.sel. Click ok. 4. Flood fill with white. 5. Selections, float. 6. Effects 3D effects, cut out. Use these settings. Color is #9A5C61. (Note: You may wish to change the cut out color to give your bunny a different color). 7. Effects, noise add. Use these settings. 8. Selections, select none. 9. Effects, plug-in filters, Eyecandy 3.1, jiggle. Use these settings. (Or you can play around and create your own). 10. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer head. 11. Selections, load from disk. Choose head.sel. Click ok. (Note: You will be repeating each step above for the head from steps 4 thru 10, settings are all the same. I am doing it this way to keep from repeating so much). Your image will look similar to this. 12. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer outer ear. 13. Selections, load from disk. Choose outer ear.sel. Click ok. (Once again you need to repeat the steps above for the outer ear. All settings will be the same). 14. Layers, arrange send to bottom. 15. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer outer ear 2. 16. Selections, load from disk. Choose outerear2.sel. Click ok. (Again repeat the same steps above, I know this is repetitious and I apologize). Your image will look similar to this. 17. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer inner ear. 18. Selections, load from disk. Choose innerear.sel. Click ok. 19. Flood fill with #9A5C61. 20. Selections, select none. 21. Effects, plug-in filters, Eyecandy 3.1, Fur. Use these settings. 22. Effects, plug-in filters, Eyecandy 3.1, jiggle. Use these settings. 23. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer inner ear 2. 24. Selections, load from disk. Choose innerear2.sel. Click ok. 25. Repeat steps 19 thru 23. (Note: Again I chose to do it this way to keep from repeating so much. Also you can choose to edit copy your inner ear 1 and edit paste as a new layer, however, you will need to rotate it to fit just right). Your image will look similar to this. 26. Open your layer palette and highlight your body layer. 27. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer tail. 28. Selections, load from disk. Choose tail.sel. Click ok. 29. Flood fill with white. 30. Selections, float. 31. Effects, 3D effects, cut out. Use these settings. Color is #9A5C61. 32. Effects, noise add. Use these settings. Selections, select none. 33. Effects, plug-in filters, Eyecandy 3.1, jiggle. Use same settings as you have used thru out this tutorial. Your image should now look similar to this. We are almost done. Hop on over to page 2 and will put a smiling face on your bunny. This Tutorial ©
