Bunney's Fallen Snowman Page 4 Change your background color to white. Foreground (styles) color should be black. Using your preset shapes tool going back to your ellipse shape with these settings. Draw an oval ellipse shape for your snowman's hat fur. Then go to layers, arrange, bring to top so that you can see what your doing. Using your object selector tool right click and go to node edit. Drag the two side nodes down to match up with the hat nodes on the sides like this. Pull the top node down to where it is flush with the top of the hat like this. Now bring your bottom node up about half way like this. Click on the two side nodes you will see an arrow pop up. Pull those arrows upward so that it is more rounded like this. Once you get your fur top the way you want it right click and go to quit node editing. Then go to layers convert to raster and rename this layer hat fur. Now go to selections, select all, then selections float. Apply the same cut out effect you used for the mittens and the hat using the following settings. I just added this one cut out effect. Now go to effects, plug in filters, Fantastic machines, paint engine and use these settings. Now go to selections select none. Using your retouch tool with these settings. Start pulling your hat fur out so that it resembles fur. This is what you should have. Now draw you a circle on the side part of the hat. We are going to add the same paint engine filter and use the retouch tool to get the same effect on the ball of the hat. This is what you should have. Change your preset shape to rectangle and draw a rectangle for the mittens fur. You will have to use your arrows to rotate them so they fit right up under the mittens. Convert layers to raster and then apply the same paint engine filter and use your retouch tool to finish up with the fur. You should now have this. We are almost finished;))) All that is left is his face *S*. We can't forget that now can we;)) You can now merge visible all layers and rename snowman. Move on over to page 5 and we will finish up!
