Bunney's Spider Web Background
Tutorial
This tutorial is a
simple yet effective Halloween background. It was created using PSP
7 but I don't see any reason why it can't be revised using other
versions of PSP.
Things needed for
this tutorial.
1. Spider tube I
created from Hugware I purchased. Download that HERE.
2. Eye Candy 4000.
You can find a trial version HERE.
Not sure if the trial version have all the working filters needed for
this tutorial.
3. DBS Flux Filter.
You can download that HERE.
Lets Get Started
Open a new 200 by 200
(16.7 million colors) transparent image. Your foreground (styles)
color should be orange. I am using #E3862B. Background color needs to
be black.
Click on the little
arrow to the right of your foreground (styles) color. Click on
gradient. Click back on your background and a window will open up. We
want to chose #1 Foreground-Background with these settings.

Flood fill your 200 by
200 image with this gradient. Your image will now look like this.

Go to effects, plug in
effects, eye candy 4000 and then marble. Use these settings.

Bedrock color is #E3862B.
Vein color is black. Your image will now look like this.

Next go to effects,
plug-in filters, dbs flux, then chose spider web. Use these settings.

Your image will now
look like this.

Add a new raster layer.
Open your spider tube in psp. I saved this in psp format so that those
who have different versions of psp can use this image. Export the
spider image as a tube. We get a clearer picture if using him as a
tube. Browse to find the spider tube. Use your picture tube tool
Set your scale to the settings below.
![](SW_7.jpg)
Set your mouse in the
middle of your background image. And click to put your spider in the
middle of this image.
![](SW_8.jpg)
You really can't see
the spider that well can we. We will fix that next. Go to effects,
plug-in filters, eye candy 4000 and chose corona. Use these settings.
![](SW_9.jpg)
Color is #E3862B.This
is your final image.

Your image will tile
when used in stationery or on a web page. I hope you enjoyed
this tutorial as much as I have creating it. As always, if you have
any questions or something isnt clear, please email me at kitchel@webworkz.com
