88. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer hat.

89. Selections, load from disk. Choose hat.sel. Click open.

90. Foreground (styles) color black. Background color is #9A4433.

91. Flood fill hat.sel with black. 

92. Selections, modify contract by 2, flood fill with #9A4433.

93. Selections, select none, selections, select all. Selections float, selections invert.

94. Effects 3D effects, drop shadow. Use these settings. Color is black.

95. Selections, select none.

96. Layers arrange, send to bottom. 

97. Layers new raster layer. Name this layer hook.

98. Selections, load from disk choose hook.sel. Click open.

99. Flood fill with black.

100. Selections, select none.

101. Drag this layer to just under the left hand layer. . Your layer palette should now look like this.

102. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer ornament hook top.

103. Selections, load from disk. Choose ornamenthooktop.sel. Click open.

104. Flood fill with black.

105. Selections, select none. Your bear should be looking similar to this. 

106. Highlight ear layer and add a new raster layer. Name this layer inner ear. 

107. Selections load from disk, choose innerear.sel. Click ok.

108. Flood fill with black.

109. Selections, modify contract by 2. Flood fill with  #5C421D.

110. Selections, none.

111. Retouch tool with these settings. 

112. Draw the black lines out toward the sides with a quick motion so that it gives the inner ear a hair effect. Similar to this.

113. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer nose. 

114. Selections, load from disk. Choose nose.sel. Click open.

115. Layers arrange, bring to top.

116. Flood fill with black.

117. Selections, select none.

118. Highlight bearface layer and add a new raster layer. Name this layer mouth. 

119. Selections, load from disk. Choose mouth.sel. Click open.

120. Flood fill with black.

121. Selections, select none.

122. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer eyes.

123. Selections, load from disk. Choose eyes. Click open.

124. Flood fill eyes with black.

125. Selections, select none.

126. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer detail.

127. Draw tool with these settings. Foreground color black. Background null. 

128. Draw small short lines going around the hat bottom. Your image will look something like this.

129. In your layer palette, highlight your hatball layer add a new raster layer and name this layer details 2.

130. Repeat step 125.

131. This next step is optional. I just added it at the last minute to the ornament and liked the effect. You will need eyecandy 3.1 for this next step.  Highlight ornament layer, Go to effects, plug-in-filters, eyecandy 3.1, water drop and use these settings.

Your image should look like this after applying the eyecandy water drop effect. 

132. Merge visible all layers and rename santa ornament bear! You are now finished!!
