"Rusti" Reindeer Tutorial Page 2 29. Layers new raster layer. Name this layer mouth. 30. Foreground (styles) color black. Background color null. 31. Draw tool with these settings. Draw a line straight down from the nose. Do not go all the way down. 32. Draw tool but change line type to free hand. Draw a curved line at the bottom of the straight line you just drew. Your image should look similar to this. 33. Draw tool, same settings. Draw a curved line at the top of the curved line you just drew. Form around the cheeks. Your image will look similar to this. 34. Effects, blur, gaussian blur. Use these settings. 35. Foreground (styles) color black. Background color #F7F0EB. 36. Preset shapes tool with these settings. (Ellipse shape). At the top of the reindeer's head, draw an oval shape. 37. Object selector tool . Right click and go to node edit. Using CTRL on your keyboard add 4 (four) nodes to the top of the oval shape. 2 (two) on the left side of the middle node and 2 (two) on the right side of the middle node. 38. Pull nodes 1, 3, 5 up. Use the arrow to round them off. Right click and click on quit node editing. 39. Layers, convert to raster. Rename this layer antler. 40. Layers, arrange, send to bottom. 41. Selections, select all. Selections float. 42. Effects, 3D effects, cut out. Use these settings. 43. Selections, select none. 44. Open layer palette. Duplicate layer. Image mirror and place on the opposite side. Your image should look similar to this. 45. Layers, merge visible. You
are now finished. You can export your reindeer as a tube or save him for later
