Bunney's Christmas Soldier Page 4 100. Layers, new raster layer. Name this layer shoes. 101. Preset shapes tool 102. Effects, plug-in filters, Eye candy 4000, glass. (Optional) this just adds the glassy look to your soldier's shoes. 103. Open layer palette, duplicate layer. Image mirror and place on the opposite side of the soldiers leg. Your image should look something like this. 104. Layers new raster layer. Name this layer shoe trim. 105. Layers, arrange, send to top. 106. Foreground (styles) color white. Background color white. 107. Using draw tool 108. Starting at the left side of the soldiers leg, draw a straight line going across to where you have the middle of the soldiers leg. (Remember we need to separate the legs). 109. Click once on the left side to pull it up and once on the right side and pull up this will form a curve going over the top of the soldiers shoe. 110. Selections, select all. Selections float. 111. Effects plug-in effects, flaming pear, blade pro. Chose the D_silver shimmer. 112. Selections, select none. 113. Open layer palette, duplicate layer. Image mirror. Place on the opposite shoe. Your soldier should now look similar to this. 114. Layers new raster layer. Name this layer hands. 115. Foreground (styles) color #F6D2C4. Background color #F6D2C4. 116. Preset shapes tool 117. Selections, select all. Selections float. 118. Effects, 3D effects, cut out. Use these settings. 119. Selections, select none. 120. Open layer palette. Duplicate layer. Image mirror. Place on the other soldiers hand. Your image will look similar to this. 120. Add a sparkle tube if you wish to the soldiers hat. I also added a bow using a bow I had in my preset shapes folder. You are now finished! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial as much as I
