Bunney's  Beautiful Star

Background Tutorial

This tutorial was created using PSP 7. I don't see any reason why it can not be finished in other versions of PSP. I hope you enjoy this tutorial as much as I have creating it! I enjoy playing around in psp with different filters and this is what I came up with playing.

Filters needed to complete this tutorial.

(Note: All filters need to be unzipped into your PSP Plugins folder

1.  DSB Flux Filter. Download HERE.

2. Simple Filter. Download HERE.

3.  FM Tile Tools Filter. Download HERE. (Optional)

4.   VM Natural Filter. Download HERE.

5.   This gradient file. Download HERE. (You can choose to use your own gradient if you wish). (Unzip this into your psp gradient folder).

Lets Get Started

1.   Open a new 100 by 100 (16. 7 Million color) transparent image.

2.   Flood fill with your choice of gradient. I am using Forest Green. (Use these settings).

3.   Effects, plug-in filters, VM Natural, Sparkle. Use these settings.

  4.   Effects, plug-in filters, DSB flux, bright noise. (Note: You can play around with the settings, the effects you will achieve depends upon how light or dark you use this filter). Here are the settings I am using for this tutorial.

5.   Effects, plug-in filters, VM Natural, splash. Use these settings.

6.   Effects, plug-in filters, simple, pizza slice mirror.

7.   Effects, plug-in filters, simple, quick tile.

Your image should look similar to this.

8.   Effects, plug-in filters, FM Tile tools, blend emboss. (This step is optional, I like the embossed look, you may not, so this step is up to you). The settings I used are below.

You are now finished. Your image will tile when used on a web page or in stationery. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial as much as I have creating it for you! Please do not link to nor remove any images or  part of this tutorial and upload to another server.
