Bunney's Almost Linen Background

Tutorial

This tutorial was written in PSP 7, but can be revised for other versions of PSP. I hope you enjoy this tutorial as much as I have creating it.

Filters You Will Need For This Tutorial

1.  DBS Flux Filter. Download HERE.

2. FM Tile Tools Filter. Download HERE.

Lets Get Started!

1. New 200 by 200 (16.7 Million colors) transparent image.

2. Foreground color #008080. (Or any color you want your background to be.

3. Flood fill image with #008080.

4. Effects, plug-in filters, dbs flux, bright noise. Use these settings. (Note: The more the intensity on your dbs flux the deeper your linen will be. These are just settings I used for the dark green background shown on this tutorial).

5. Effects, plug-in filters, dbs flux, blast. Use these settings.

6. Effects, plug-in filters, dbs flux, blast. Use these settings.

7. Effects, plug-in filters, dbs flux, blast. Use these settings.

8. Effects, plug-in filters, dbs flux, blast. Use these settings.

Your image will look similar to this one.

9. Effects, plug-in filters, fm tile tools, blend emboss. Use these settings.

10. Using crop tool crop the edges about 5 (five) pixels. Your image should now tile. This is the final background image.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Using the blast effect was actually learned from a frame tutorial.   I love the effect, played around with it and came up with this background tutorial.
